CTL Industria is a device that generates electricity using piezoelectricity. It is a two part system made up of the sole and the anklet. The sole is made up of piezo-ceramic buzzers which when mechanical stress is applied create kinetic energy. The kinetic energy is then converted into electrical energy by the converter which is also part of the sole. The second part of the system is the anklet, the anklet contains Li-polymer batteries which can store up enough electricity to power household basic electrical appliances such as lamps, fridge, TV and other appliances.
